CV  of  Ahmet Girgin  M.D.

I was born in Istanbul. I studied French and English  in Lycée of Galatasaray and I was interested in Turkish folk dances and tourism.

I entered  the Faculty of Medicine of Istanbul University and I finished my study and began my ophthalmology specialization in Ophthalmology Department of the same faculty.

I run my own eye-clinic in the downtown Istanbul and I also work as consultant ophthalmologist / anterior segment surgeon for two hospital groups.

Meantime, I worked in some clinics in Europe, specially in France and Belgium and I have the equivalency of my diploma of medicine in Grand-Duché of Luxembourg.

I am one of the Turkish ophthalmologists who practice Excimer Laser and LASIK to treat Myopia, Hyperopia and Astigmatism.

I use the endo-nasal surgery to treat the obstructions of nasolacrimal canaliculus which leaves no scare on the facial tissues.

I speak French, English as well as a little Italian.
